The task here was to design scifi movie posters using at least four stock photos combined to create original posters. With layout as one of my most favorite things to do, this provided an opportunity for just that.
Zombies was something I was excited to work on and chose to do my own photography, along with layout. I love all the behind the scenes of a large production and enjoyed creating the pieces.

Editorial and Painting
The fortune cookie read "Old friends, old wine, and old gold are best". It was up to me to interpret that and create a painting. After some thought, I determined the meaning to be Things That Last A Lifetime. With a few sketches to ponder over, I continued the process by creating this acrylic painting. My mom's hand upon my own life was my inspiration.
Once the painting was complete, the idea was to create an editorial. I researched articles and found one to be complementary as well as inspirational. This was a good opportunity to show my text heavy layout work.

Finding beauty in the most common places. That's what I'm talking about.
My Favorite Farm!
With a beautiful snow day, I had to grab my camera and capture the splendor of the farm. Then...capture it again in another season.
Canon - Behind The Scenes
While participating in the creation of a video for public awareness, I took a few up close shots.
Talking About Texture
It's everywhere and I need to have my fix!
Historic Buildings Rock!
There is something fascinating from all angles.
The task here was to create a leaflet that would present the overall process and considerations for print production. The challenge was to take much information and create a simple and short version. A few icons were created to help with visuals and color coordination. The information booklet is now given to the client's new customers. Yes!

Trade Show Display
The client was looking for something that would stand out and attract passersby to the booth. With it being a new company, I was able to influence many of the creative ideas including set up pieces, stage presence, and color blend. During the actual trade show, other business owners were impressed with the overall look and excitement of the booth.

The task here was to come up with an idea for an app. With my event design and planning background I chose to create an app that would help with the details of all the planning that goes into any occasion. From access to local vendors and venues, to scheduling and guest lists, preparing for that special event is made simple.
New Year Flyer
With a masquerade theme, this flyer was created for a local city's First Night Event.
